2019 BMW 6-Series

The BMW 6-Series is anticipated to see no major changes for the 2019 model year. Since the 2-door Coupe was ceased in 2015, the lineup consists of a 2-door Convertible, a 4-Door Gran Coupe and a 4-Door Gran Turismo with wagon-like styling.

The renderings follow current rumors around a sleeker and sportier style of the popular high-end tourer. The brand-new 6er is stated to have a more vibrant roofline than the existing model and shallower glasshouse. A few of the streamlined design hints seen on the 4 Series Coupe are a motivation for the larger two-door model with an extended roofline which puts the C-pillar just behind the rear wheels and enables a brief rear overhang. Some recommend it will have the visual characteristics of an Aston Martin.

Front kidney grilles shown here are upturned as a reverse from basic BMWs. The headlights take an ultra slim shape with laser lights integrated while the taillights are sleeker and bigger.

Side air breathers and large air intakes are a continuation of BMW’s present style, in addition to a lot of chrome elements for a more glamorous look. The new 6 Series will go on a diet for a total weight saving of around 200 kilograms. The rear axle comes from the new 7 Series, however xDrive all-wheel drive will continue to be offered. The 6 Series household stays in the conventional mix of fabric roof convertible, coupe and a four-seater Gran Coupe.
